New French President chooses DS for inauguration

If you were wondering what that vehicle was in which France’s new President rode during his inauguration at the weekend, it was the first public viewing of the new DS 7 Crossback, writes Brian Byrne.

The specially-personalised vehicle has an opening roof so President Emmanuel Macron could greet the French crowd on the Champs-Elysées.

The vehicle was revealed just two months ago by the luxury car division of PSA group.

The ‘Presidential’ car featured French Republic signature badging and a Tricolour flag holder. It is now on display at DS World at 33 François 1e street in Paris.
