The development of this particular car began at the turn of the millenium, it was made with an aluminium body and a V10 engine to boast.
But we are not here to talk about the inception or conception, we are here to talk about the finished product....... the LEXUS LFA.



Manufactured by Lexus, a Japanese Motor Industry this beautiful beast spent nearly a decade in the lab undergoing several rigorous refining and boy was it worth the wait.

The production model was finally unveiled August 5th 2009 and only 500 models were to be produced.

This 2-door coupe was fitted with a 4.8L V10 engine coughing up 552 break horsepower at 8700rpm and limited to 9500rpm which meant that before a second passed the crankshaft would have done 145 revolutions pushing this masterpiece to neckbreaking speeds.

This engine is so awesome it won the best engine of the year 2011 beating Mercedes SLS AMGs V8, 458 italias V8, Nissan GTRs V6 to the coveted title

The massive engine did not wear down this beast cuz it weighs a meagre 1.614 tonnes..... This is because 65% of the body composition by mass is purely carbon raising the cost of this beauty to a jaw dropping sum of $400,000. But your money is not wasted cuz the performance it delivers is also jaw dropping.

It will go from rest to 97km/h in 3.6secs, and will get to 160km/h at 7.6secs and thats just enough time for a spoon of rice to move from your mouth down to your stomach..... imagine youre eating and befo re you could swallow a spoon this beast has gone from 0 to 160km/h and before you can stand to look out your window this japanese princess would be long gone cuz in 21.2secs shell be doing 261km/h..... And in under a minute she would have gone from zero to her top speed of 325km/h.....

To put this speed into context, assuming there was a straight road connecting port harcourt and owerri and you put this japanese beauty at one end, it would cover that distance in just about 25mins and thats pretty fast.

And you dont have to ride in discomfort cuz its got all you need

 

The transmission is also something to boast about..... the 6 speed gearbox takes only 500milliseconds to shift

At $400,000 and one of the most expensive japanese vehicles, many can not afford this piece of perfection but whats that saying....... "too much of a good thin g is bad"
